For the record, I'm that 'Former Dittohead' guy. I spoke at YearlyKos, and had the good fortune of meeting Elana Levin, the Communications Manager for the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy over at Justin Krebs' big "Please, God, Just Let Me Get Some Sleep" closing night YearlyKos room party.
